Founders’ Note

Hey Pod World! We finally launched PODHAUS!

A Note from the Founders

To new friends: Welcome. We’re really glad you’re here.
For those who don’t know, The Ritual Letter is a publication of Podhaus where we share guides, prompts, recipes, media we’re consuming, cafés we’re loving some behind the scenes and occasional thoughts. We’ve gained over a hundred new subscribers on Podhaus since we launched four days ago, and honestly, that still hasn’t fully sunk in.

We started Podhaus because we believed that how you begin your day shapes everything that follows. Not a productivity hack. Not a routine for the sake of optimization. Just the simple, grounding act of slowing down, and doing something purely for yourself before the world starts asking things of you.

We’ve been asked a lot lately: Where did Podhaus come from?” And the honest answer is: from us being tired — unable to keep going with our safe routines because we are pulled in all different directions. Tired of rushing. Tired of the blur between one thing and the next. Tired of looking back at a week and feeling like it happened to us instead of with us. Has everyone been feeling the same?

This brand is our attempt to build something to help us keep our routines and rituals sustainable — not just to sell, but to remind ourselves and anyone paying attention that there’s a different way to move through the day.

That’s the story. It’s still being written. You’re now part of it.

Self Care Rituals

The Slow Morning

We’ve been going back to basics this week because honestly, the launch has been a lot. The ritual that keeps us sane is deceptively simple: before anything else, before the phone, before the to-do list, we make something warm and we sit with it. A quiet cup. No agenda. Just five minutes that belong entirely to us before the day takes over. It’s not about the drink. It’s about the pause before everything starts.

Journaling Prompts
On Knowing Who You Are — And Caring Less About What Anyone Thinks

This week we’ve been sitting with a quiet kind of confidence — not the loud kind, not the performative kind. The kind that just… doesn’t need to explain itself. These prompts are for that.

1.     What’s one thing you do, wear, or believe in that you used to justify and no longer feel the need to?
2.     When did you last feel fully like yourself — no performance, no adjustment? What were you doing?
3.     What opinion or version of you are you still carrying that no longer belongs to you?
4.     Is there something you want that you’ve been quietly waiting for permission to want?
5.     What would you do differently this week if you genuinely stopped worrying about how it looked?

Pods and Places

Favorite Café to Work From

Kaori
Park Triangle Mall, BGC

Hojicha Latte

If you haven’t been to Kaori yet, go. We’ve been going back for the hojicha latte and salmon sandwich. The hojicha latte is iced… so we’re not sure why it feels warm when we drink it. It’s exactly the kind of thing you want when you need to slow down without fully switching off. The space has a quietness to it that doesn’t feel forced. Order the hojicha latte, find a corner to work, to read, to journal, or just… be somewhere for a moment.

Behind the Pod This Week

Four days ago, Podhaus officially launched and in that short amount of time, we’ve already sold out of the white portable espresso machine. We’re still deciding if we should restock and keep it as a limited run (we have so many fun ideas, it’s honestly a little overwhelming).

You’ve also been loving the ceremonial grade matcha pods, which tells us that more and more of us are looking for simpler, more intentional rituals. We’re genuinely moved by the response, especially from those that have supported us from Day One, so infinite thank you’s to all of you.

We’re going live on Lazada this week for anyone who finds that more accessible.

We’ll be honest: calm feels a little harder to come by right now, but we’re looking for it. That’s kind of the whole point anyway right?

That’s it for this week.

Wherever you are today, we hope you find a small moment to pause. Have a good night’s rest for the week ahead.

Robbie and Ryna 🤍
